Groundbreaking publication in NEJM on using DNA sequencing for drug resistance prediction in TB. For the first time, our understanding of the genetics is accurate enough to confirm that the 4 first-line drugs (isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and pyrazinamide) will be effective.
